Salvation Print E-mail
If you have recently received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, our Salvation Track is definitely the next step for you. This track will help you progress to a better understanding of what it means to follow Christ.

Fresh Start With God

This 10-week class is the starting point at Oasis for anyone who has recently received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  You will gain a greater understanding of what Christ has done for you as your Savior and how God wants you to respond to His Lordship in your life. It is also a great place to start if you are inquiring or investigating the claims of Christ or are unsure of what the next step is for you on your spiritual journey.

Water Baptism

Once you have received Christ as your Lord and Savior, being baptized in water is a public step of identifying yourself with Jesus. It is your declaration of your belief in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection and of your commitment to follow Him. Water baptisms are done once every 2–3 months as part of our Sunday morning worship service. It is recommended you complete the Water Batism class prior to being baptized.  Next class begins Monday, July 12 at 6:30 pm at Oasis.

Journaling With God

Once you have received Jesus into your heart and life, He wants you to grow in your relationship with Him. We communicate with God through conversational prayer. The main way God speaks to us is through the Bible—His written word to us. The Living With God journal is a tool we have developed to help you learn how to pray (talk to God) and hear God speak to you through the Bible.

This 2-week class will explain to you how to use the journal to record your thoughts and prayers in your quiet times with God in prayer and Bible reading.
