Current Special Events: 40 Days to Purpose Francis Slattery–Saturday, March 13–10 am This week as part of our 40 Days to Purpose, we will visit a dear sister and friend of Oasis, Francis Slattery. Francis attended Oasis for many years until she became partially blind and is no unable to leave her home on a regular basis. She is a WONDERFUL lady, full of life and has a great sense of humor! She is very excited about our visit. We will meet at Francis’ home (2805 Painted Rose Lane, Henderson, 89074) at 10 am to do some light yard work and share a meal and maybe some worship music with her! Since she is unable to attend church, we will bring church to her. What a great opportunity to continue to “go where God is” and minister to the elderly. Prayer Meetings From February 23–April 3, prayer meetings will be held every night (Sunday–Saturday) from 6:30–7:30 PM. The focus for these 40 days is living the Spirit filled life. These nightly prayer meetings will include worship, a short devotional, individual and corporate prayer, to seek a new fullness of God’s Spirit in our lives. Childcare will be provided for all children who are potty trained. Please join us every night you can as we seek God together for more of His power in our lives. Women's Retreat and Seminar We are having an AWESOME event for women coming up! It is Saturday, March 27 from 9 am–3:30 pm. The event will be here at Oasis and the cost is $25 and includes coffee, tea, pastries, worship, two seminars and lunch at La Focaccia. We have a fantastic guest speaker that will be with us, Peggy Gray. She has been a Bible Study Fellowship leader for over 10 years and will share a special message. Pick up your tickets now!
