Prison Ministry Print E-mail

The Oasis prison outreach ministry is another way for us to "Go Where God Is" and spread the Good News! Two friends of Oasis, John Page and Vicki Corradino, have a passion for this ministry. Prison is a dark and lonely place. The men and women who are incarcerated look forward to letters and visits every day from family and friends. Prisoners need to know they are not alone. God is with them. Take a step of faith and be a part of this wonderful ministry.

Pastor John Page has been invloved in prison ministry for over two years. He is a chaplain at the Clark County Detention Center. John is always looking for volunteers to visit prisoners and to help with administrative work. John is often invited to preach at Oasis. If you're interested in volunteering with John at the CCDC, please give him a call, 526.7828.

Vicki Corradino's passion was ignited when she began writing a friend's brother who was in prison. She wrote him for over two years and now writes to several inmates sharing the Good News of hope and salvation. Vicki will help coordinate a pen pal that you will correspond with through letters. Your information is kept confidential: only first names are used and a PO Box is used as a mailing address. Let your words be their sliver of light. Contact Vicki, 434.4465, with questions and details.

"I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."  —Matthew 25:36
